As you can see the seeing must have been excellent as I have caught the lighter colourations inside the GRS.  The wake turbulence that follows it is also stunning.

 

Meanwhile the moon was putting in a good show.  The mountains to the south of Cassatus and Newton are shown to good effect.  It is such a stunning region, I am always drawn to it when the illumination is right.
